The Live action roleplaying game started becoming popular in America in the seventies and gained international popularity in the eighties. In live action roleplaying games people dress up in the way the characters they are playing. Any story can be adapted for live action role playing. The venue of a live action role playing can be a house, a hall or even an open field. Today there are a number of LARP forums and anyone who is interested can join a LARP forum. A plot or story is adapted for live action role playing and all the actors and actresses are assigned roles. Props are arranged to create the sets and suitable outfits are also arranged. Some live action role playing sessions can last for hours and some can go on for weeks. LARP are conducted to reenact a story and there are no audiences. If a bystander happens to wander in when a LARP is on, he or she is ignored by the actors. There are a lot of arrangements that are required to be done to put up a LARP and it’s not only the actors and actresses that get involved. Normally a person takes charge of making all the arrangements for a live action role play performance. It gives people a chance to try out their acting skills and is generally a lot of fun.
