In contrast to what the title of this article may suggest, when it comes to getting tickets for the Reading Festival this year, there certainly are not enough tickets to go around. Whilst millions of people do attend the festival, most of those people were lucky enough to get their hands on tickets through the ticket retailer Seat Wave. Again, this is harder than it sounds, but not completely impossible. Furthermore, if you are truly in need to Festival tickets, there is no harm in trying over and over again in order to get a set of tickets. But, instead of doing this, let me give you a little bit of advice.

Firstly, if you are currently trying to get tickets for yourself - you are trying in vain. The initial release of tickets was exhausted after just 48 hours of being put on sale. So clearly, there are none left for sale at the moment. However, before you go and get a chocolate bar to comfort you due to this bad news, let me tell you that there will be another ticket launch in spring this year, in the lead up to the August festival start date. So, if you don’t have a ticket just yet - you do still have a chance that you will be able to get one in due course.
